Air Permeability

Air Permeability

In view of the entry into force of the EC regulation, we have carried out regular tests and laboratory examinations on our products since 2010, which help us improve and optimise our performances.
The air permeability test was performed on an item from the "Basic Style" line, from the lower range, with a wide glass window.
The choice of this product for the test ensures even better results are reached for the most performing products.
The testing equipment is composed by a tight casing, a device that creates a difference in pressure between the two sides of the door, a gauge for the air-flow going in or out the tight chamber and a gauge for the pressure difference between the two sides of the door.
This test was performed according to UNI EN 1026:2001 - UNI EN 12207:2000 standards
The following door models were tested:
SYDNEY MOD 101 V
CLASSIFICATION 1 POSITIVE AIR PRESSURE AWARDED ACCORDING TO UNI EN 1026 AND UNI EN 12207
CLASSIFICATION 2 NEGATIVE AIR PRESSURE AWARDED ACCORDING TO UNI EN 1026 AND UNI EN 12207
