Britto Loves Bertolotto

Romero Britto was born in Recife, Brazil, in 1963.
Self-taught at an early age, he painted on newspapers, cardboard or any scrap of paper he could find.
In 1983, he traveled to Paris where he was introduced to the work of Matisse and Picasso. He has blended together influences of cubism and pop art, to create a vibrant, iconic style that the New York Times describes as exudes warmth, optimism and love.

Britto is an artistic activist for charitable organizations worldwide and most of all an artist who belives that art is too important not to share. Britto's pop sensitivity is best expressed through his collaborations with major brands, such as Audi, Bentley, Disney, Technomarine, Evian and FIFA, which entrusted him with the design of the official poster for the 2010 World Cup. Romeo Britto has also illustrated several books for Simon & Schuster e Rizzoli.

He acts as benefactor, donating time, art and resources to over 250 organizations and serves on several boards such as Best Buddies International and St. Jude's Children Hospital.
Pop Art and Colors are the distinctive elements of the Britto style: the cheerfulness of his works invades the world of design and art.

The language used by this artist is transversal and can be used to decorate, embellish and make both luxury goods and popular products unique.

Britto Loves Bertolotto is the collection of decorated doors that reproduces Britto's works of art: bright and garish colors, fun subjects, eye-catching pop compositions.

You can find some of his main graphic works on our hinged or sliding doors and on our boiseries, for a kaleidoscope of colors that could decorate a whole room alone.

The collaboration with Romero Britto was a dream come true... says Claudio Bertolotto, CEO of Bertolotto S.p.A.
Looking at Britto's work of art I was impressed by the positivity and optimism that they expressed and got me thinking about the way Bertolotto does his best to improve his performance and to enhance the industry goals. Making sophisticated, unique, and high grade products, filled with a lot of can-do spirit has always been our main purpose. Now that we have come a long way and living our dreams, we are proud to support Britto Loves Bertolotto.
