Romero Britto was born in Recife, Brazil, in 1963.
Self-taught at an early age, he painted on newspapers, cardboard or any scrap of paper he could find to serve as his canvas.
In 1983, he traveled to Paris where he was introduced to the work of Matisse and Picasso. He combined influences from cubism with pop, to create a vibrant, iconic style that the New York Times describes, "exudes warmth, optimins and love".
Britto's pop sensitivity is best expressed through his collaborations with important brands, such as Audi, Bentley, Disney, Technomarine, Evian and FIFA, which entrusted him with the design of the official poster for the 2010 World Cup.
Britto is an artistic activist for charitable organizations worldwide and most of all an artist who belives that "art is too important not to share".
He acts as benefactor, donating time, art and resources to over 250 organizations and serves on several boards such as Best Buddies International and St. Jude's Children Hospital.
Romero Britto also illustrated several books published by Simon & Schuster and Rizzoli.
Pop Art and Colours are the distinctive elements of the "Britto" style: the cheerfulness of his works invades the world of design and art.
The language used by this artist is transversal and can be used to decorate, embellish and make luxury products unique, whilst being also popular.
Britto Loves Bertolotto is the new collection of decorated doors that reproduces Britto's works of art: bright and garish colors, funny subjects, eye catching pop composition.
You can find the graphics created by the Artist on our hinged doors and sliding doors and on our boiseries, for a kaleidoscope of colors that alone can decorate a whole room
