Inaugurated in December 2018, the new headquarters of the Feltrinelli Foundation of Milan designed by Herzog & de Meuron wants to be " a platform for aggregation and cultural debate, open to all Milanese" ;. The interior spaces of the building have been conceived and created as meeting points in this sense, as well as hosting an immense archive kept on the underground floors, a library, multifunctional spaces for meetings, as well as the Foundation Offices.
The structure " a gable" with facades entirely covered with glass and glass sides and rhythmic structure è an intervention that follows the boundary of the area on which it rests, renovating it with an integrated urban project: 188 m the length of the building, 32 m high, 16 m deep 26-agrave; including the galleries, inserted in 15 thousand square meters of new green area, with new trees and cycle paths. L& # 39; interior, minimal and sober, è made important by the structure. The doors are inserted and hidden in the walls, returning to be pure functional elements of opening and closing.
Filomuro CL swing è the flush-to-wall solution of Bertolotto chosen for the project. These are doors and closures of flush-to-the-wall wardrobes, with an aluminum frame incorporated into the plasterboard or masonry walls and door painted with the finish of the surrounding area. For the Feltrinelli Foundation, the company supplied about 200 elements including doors and closures for wardrobes, niches and technical compartments made to measure.
